Chiropractic Adjustments
At North St. Paul Chiropractic we take a hands on approach to treating our patients. Each patient will receive the most appropriate adjustment(s) for them based on what they are being treated for. Working towards restoring normal or as close to normal motion as possible will give you the best opportunity to start feeling better. Joints are meant to move and when this movement gets restricted is when you see a lot of injuries/issues start to occur.

Soft tissue therapy
We believe that it is very important to look at and treat all areas associated with the individual injury/issue. Soft tissue therapy is great for helping to reduce tightness, decrease the amount of myofascial adhesions/scar tissue that may be present, increase patient comfort and help with chiropractic adjustments. Combining adjustments and soft tissue therapy is an incredibly effective way to help you start the recovery process from your individual injury/issue. We believe that it is very important to treat all areas of the musculoskeletal system.
Corrective exercises and stretches
Depending on what each individuals injury/issue is, it is important to address the cause and not just focus on the symptoms. A saying we use a lot around here is “STOP CHASING PAIN”. Most people will have some form of habitual movement pattern that needs to be addressed. The human body adapts to the daily stresses that are put onto it and adapts to these movements accordingly. But, over time this can become problematic and actually make certain issues worse. Depending on what is being worked on patients will receive customized exercises and/or stretches. These will help them not only recover but improve their ability to move and hopefully avoid an injury in the future.
